Here is the short version, for a more detailed account go to Julie’s Journey.
I have always been an advocate for physical health. I remember walking in my neighborhood in my high school years, joining a gym in my 20’s, and now in my 40’s I still go to the gym 5 days a week. In my late 20’s I felt called to share my love of exercising, and I became a group fitness instructor. It was so important to me that the students enjoyed what they were doing so they would be motivated to do it, and improve their health and longevity in the process. For over ten years I poured my heart and soul into the health of others.
It wasn’t until about five years ago that I realized there was more to health than just my body. I worked with a life coach who helped heal my mind and spirit and create tools for living a purposeful life. I discovered a love of all things spiritual, and wanted to learn as much as possible. I became a certified Yoga Instructor and Holistic Coach, learned to meditate, and took a few workshops in Shamanism. I realized that in order to live a thriving, whole life, I needed to be balanced in body, mind and spirit.
After years of intensive coaching, studying, and learning, it was time to marry my love of caring for the body with healing the mind and spirit and bring it to the world. I decided Reiki was the answer.
I enjoy educating people about Reiki and how it can help them naturally, simply and drug-free. I love to see the effects of a session on my clients–they walk in stressed and tense, and walk out peaceful and relaxed. Post-session, I email clients my observations and recommendations so they are empowered to take an active role in their healing. I am always available to answer questions or perform additional sessions as part of their self-care regimen.
I would be honored to guide your healing on the journey to wholeness.
